The Korea Women's Open Golf Championship is a national title tournament for female professional golfers. The tournament has helped produce global stars like Mi-Hyeon Kim, Jeong Jang, Su-Yeon Kang, Ji-Ae Shin and Seon-Ju Ahn. It has the longest history among women’s golf tournaments in Korea. As both pros and amateurs can participate in this tournament, the best women golfers will arise. The Korea Women's Open Golf Championship, the most authoritative in Korea, has been held at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea since 2012.
